Privacy policy
This policy explains how Plumbing Contractors London handles your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, email address, postcode, the type of work, any message you add and your consent choice.
- Technical data: IP address and browser information processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site.
Please do not send special category data, such as health information, through our forms.
How we use your data and our lawful basis
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to arrange a survey or quote for the work you ask about. Where we pass your enquiry to an independent tradesperson so that they can quote, we only share what they need to contact you about that job. Under UK GDPR our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business (Article 6(1)(f)). We do not use your details for marketing and we never sell them.
Who we share it with
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers form submissions to our inbox as our processor. It may process data outside the UK; where it does, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and processes technical data to deliver and secure it.
- Tradespeople who quote for your job, as described above.
- Anyone we are required to share it with by law.

Cookies
We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 2 years after our last contact with you and then delete them, unless we need to keep them longer to meet a legal obligation.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Contact us as described above and we will respond within one month.
How to complain
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
